Happy Reading Hour: Valentine's Day Edition
Come one, come all to the inaugural reincarnation of reading hour at 826 Valencia. Here's the idea: first, we gather in the Pirate Store then, we read. You may choose to read a piece aloud or simply listen to the delightful tones of your friends' voices. Drinks and nibbles will also be enjoyed. We can't think of a better way to start a Friday night.
This Friday, we'll be celebrating love. Whether you're looking for a romantic way to spend Valentines Day, or a lighthearted, decidedly non-Hallmarkesque version, you're bound to find both. Starting at 5pm on Friday, February 14 we will provide selections of our favorite love-themed student writing as well as advice from such 18th century classics as The Natural History of the Flirt, Model Men, and The Book of the Kiss. You are also more than welcome to come with your own appropriate selection. The more the merrier.
Let us know you're coming on our facebook page (RSVP now!) and feel free to like us while you're over there.
