Seeing in black and white

When I woke up, everything was black and white. Then I saw that my room was all black. I started screaming. I didn’t know what to do.

I tried to see if I could see something in color. Then I looked outside to see if I could see if the sun was orange. I looked around and tried to see if people were wearing colored shirts. They were not wearing color, so I got scared. I started screaming, “Aaaahhhh!”

I went to the hospital to check if I was blind or if there was a reason that I woke up like that. The doctor said that I was not blind, and that I needed to stay home for two weeks in order to see in color again.

One week later, I could see a little bit of color. When I went outside, I could see some people wearing colored shirts, but not a lot. The next week, I could see everything again! I was happy because I could see colors! I wasn’t going to have to see in black and white forever.
