Sign up for a writing workshop: We offer a variety of free workshops that are open to all students ages 8-18. To check out our current offerings and sign up for a workshop that interests you, head over to our calendar.
If you’re looking for tutoring: Our After-School Tutoring program is open to families who have financial and academic need, live in the neighborhood, and attend SFUSD schools. The program is generally at capacity and has a wait list. Visit us any day between 12 and 6 p.m. to learn more and sign up, or contact Programs Director Jorge Garcia at email@example.com or 415-642-5905 ex. 209.
Anyone is welcome at Sunday Drop-In Tutoring, every Sunday (with the exception of holiday weekends) from 2:30-4:30 p.m. in 826 Valencia’s Writing Lab. This is a homework-help program; students must bring homework to work on in order to receive tutoring. No registration is required!
Are you a teacher?
We value your hard work and we’re here to support you! Check out our Field Trips program to bring a class to 826 Valencia for a morning of storytelling and writing, nominate a colleague for our Teacher of the Month award, and let your students know about our workshops!
826 Valencia has satellite classrooms at Buena Vista Horace Mann K-8, Everett Middle School, and Mission High School, where we conduct programming in partnership with the school. We have limited capacity to work with other high-need sites in SFUSD. For more information, please contact Programs Director Christina Perry at firstname.lastname@example.org or 415-642-5905 ext.212.
