At 826, we are dedicated to celebrating the diverse voices that make up our community, which is why we are delighted to host an event showcasing the inspiring writing of six Bay Area womyn of color authors.

We hope you can join us on Saturday, April 20, for “Doughnuts and Dialogue: Womyn of Color in Writing,” a reading featuring works across genres and celebrating identity. We will hear from writers Kirstin Chen, Vanessa Hua, Nana Boateng, Kiley McLaughlin, Ilaf Esuf, and Ikya Kandula. Start your morning off right with thoughtful conversation, fresh coffee, delicious sweets provided by Johnny’s Doughnuts, and a raffle for 826 items.
