Do you know the history of the popsicle? How about the origin of the taco? In this workshop, we’ll play with the past! Students will learn and research California’s food history, adding their own favorite foods and food stories to a collective map—the FUN way to explore California. Along the way, we’ll decorate (and eat!) our own California-inspired treats. The second day of the workshop will culminate in a family party and reading of our food histories, complete with a group-decorate California-shaped cake.
