Description First Thursday Art Walk & Book Cove Launch Party When Thursday, December 6 Time 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Location King Carl's Emporium at 180 Golden Gate Ave. (inside our Tenderloin Center)
SF First Thursdays: Lower Polk/TL Art Walk is a community-led monthly event hosted by the gallery owners in the Lower Polk/Tenderloin neighborhoods of San Francisco and the Lower Polk Community Benefit District, where galleries and businesses host a unique selection of art spanning multiple mediums and styles.

Join us at King Carl’s Emporium, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., to celebrate with us our latest window display, created by Dan Mock. Meet the artist, have a drink, and shop knowing all proceeds support our free programs for under-resourced San Francisco youth.

We’ll also celebrate the launch of the newest section of King Carl’s Emporium: King Carl’s Book Cove! We’ll be encouraging people to go on a blind date with a free book while drinking some homemade mulled cider. How fun is that?

This event is sponsored with grant funding from the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD) Invest in Neighborhoods program.
