SF First Thursday Art Walk

Description First Thursday Art Walk in the Tenderloin When Thursday, November 1 Time 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Location King Carl's Emporium at 180 Golden Gate Ave. (inside our Tenderloin Center)
Join us at King Carl’s Emporium, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., to marvel at our latest window display created by local designer Christine Innes. She is making “three dimensional SF buildings and public transit out of paper... inspired by the architecture in the Tenderloin. All the buildings and cars will ‘float’ around the window.” How cool is that?

Stop by to meet the artist, have fun with some arts and crafts, and enjoy (free!) drinks and snacks that will keep you going for the rest of the art walk. And with the holidays right around the corner, it’s also a good opportunity to start crossing gifts out of that long list of yours, since all store proceeds go directly into our free programs for under-resourced students. Have fun and do good at the same time!

SF First Thursdays: Lower Polk/TL Art Walk is a community-led monthly event hosted by the gallery owners in the Lower Polk/Tenderloin neighborhoods of San Francisco and the Lower Polk Community Benefit District, where galleries and businesses host a unique selection of art spanning multiple mediums and styles.

This event is sponsored with grant funding from the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD) Invest in Neighborhoods program.
