This summer, join us for a series of Sunday workshops focused on exploring social justice issues and writing for change. Students will brainstorm issues that are affecting their communities, research movements related to these issues, and experiment with a variety of poetic forms as they work to complete a protest poem. These workshops are a great option for students who are not able to participate in our 4-week summer writing programs due to schedule conflicts or other reasons. Workshops will be held on two consecutive Sundays; students must be able to attend both sessions for their age group. Please note that this workshop will be held in-person at our Mission Center at 826 Valencia St.
