If you're in eighth grade and planning to apply to RUTH ASAWA SAN FRANCISCO SCHOOL OF THE ARTS, we're here to help. 826 Valencia is teaming up with SOTA's Creative Writing Literary Arts track to offer you guidance and feedback on your application in time for this year’s December 16 deadline. We'll have current SOTA students there who know the application process inside and out, because they've done it before! To learn more about SOTA's Creative Writing department, check out http://sotacw.org/.

Students will learn the basics of writing a strong personal narrative focused on a single event. Students will be able to begin writing their personal narratives in the workshops, and are welcome to return for as many sessions as desired.
