I remember the bark of my little white dog, Brownie.
I remember the hard ground with plastic grass on my face with blood dripping.
I remember the dangerous laugh of my friend, which would spread around the room.
I remember the smooth redwood tree bark at camp.
I remember me standing on a flat stage dancing to a catchy song.
I remember salty tears draining down my cheek, crying.
I remember the bright smiles I gave to my friends.
I remember the love in my classroom, my classmates say kind words like “Hi” or “Have a great day.”
These are all important because without these I wouldn’t be who I am today
