Students dance to the rythym of words at 826

On Saturday, April 20, Liss Fain Dance taught its Dancing to the Rhythm of Words workshop for 826 Valencia students. Dancers and choreographers filled the writing lab to teach students how to create movements for their stories.

The workshop began with students writing about a memory, an unexpected turn of events, or a dream that they could not forget. After sharing their pieces, the students grouped up and put action to their words! Students performed their own dances and also learned one another’s.
