In partnership with Paul Kix, the creator of The Storytelling You digital course for journalists, 826 brings the how-tos of journalism to youth ages 14-18! In this workshop, students will learn how to create compelling nonfiction stories, and will be introduced to the habits that support the cultivation of their writing identities through the practice of journaling, outlining, and immersive storytelling. The six-week course will culminate in the publication of a student-led newspaper.
