Treasures from the Deep

On October 21, a group of seafaring eight to twelve-year-olds imagined wild adventures in our Treasures from the Deep workshop taught by Carla Brooke.

We explored symbolism and storytelling strategies involved in the age-old practice of making treasure maps. Inspired by pirates and sea monsters, we wrote bold stories choc-full of clues and designed elaborate maps to guide the treasure hunters on their journeys to discovery.
